Space Marines Bladeguard Veterans Multipart Kit Finally Revealed

Space Marines Bladeguard Veterans Multipart Kit Finally Revealed

Bladeguard Veterans Header
We knew it was coming for a long time, but it's finally here. Games Workshop has released a preview and drop date for the new Warhammer 40,000 Space Marines Bladeguard Veterans multipart kit. This kit has been highly anticipated. The Bladeguard Veterans are such an efficient close-combat threat, that we have seen them deployed in many chapters, not just combat oriented ones like White Scars and Blood Angels. Previously they came in a monopose push fit configuration in the one off Indomitus box.
Bladeguard Veterans Squad
At the end of the month, preorders will go up. Not only does this kit gives you additional Bladeguard Veterans, like the dreaded five man squad, it gives you different assembly choices as well. Here are the sprues.

Bladeguard Veterans Sprue 2
Bladeguard Veterans Sprue 3
As you can see, these sprues come packed full of options. Let's look at some of the configurations you can build.
You can recreate a classic sword and shield pose with a master-crafted power sword and huge storm shield.
Sword and Shield Pose
These storm shields have been designed so that they can be fitted to the Space Marine power pack. What a new, awesome idea.
Hands Free
Storm Shield
This kit includes flair for days. You have the pointy arm with hand on sword pose, and a great pose with a sergeant wiping the blood off his blade.
Bladeguard Veterans Flair
In the Space Marines Codes, Bladeguard Veteran Sergeants can be kitted out with a heavy bolt pistol, neo-volkite pistol, or plasma pistol. Now these are included in the kit, without having to kitbash.
Sergeant Pistol Choices
The kit also includes head choices, holster and scabbard choices, and even left and right handed weapon combos. This is awesome, I'm a left handed pistol shooter and now my Space Marines can reflect that. Left handers rejoice!
This kit will be available for preorder on Saturday, January 30th right here on Umbrella Games.
