Ever since Atris Opus released their brush line there has been tremendous hype about their quality. I’ve tried their series S brushes and found them to be quite good so I had to try the series D. I have to say that these brushes perform like no other dry brush I have ever used. I don’t know if it is just the brushes themselves or the fact that I watched and implemented the techniques they suggest for them. But I have been able to achieve some pretty amazing results with them. I suspect that it’s a combination of the two things that helps to provide the excellent results you get.
I will say that the build quality and quality of the bristles seem to be top notch. And the rounded shape of the bristles seem to also make a significant difference in how these brushes work. They also clean up like a champ and retain their shape once dry.
These are very high end brushes and I baby them as such. I clean them out with a quality artist soap after each use and store them horizontally. Between the quality of the brushes themselves and the care I give them, I expect them to last quite a while.
