Kragnos, the End of Empires
Smashing onto the cover of the close out book from the Broken Realms is Kragnos. Kragnos is a new god of Destruction, Slayer of Dragons, and the acient god of earthquakes. Kragnos is the last survivor of an ancient race. He is the largest single model besides the Mega-Gargants.
Kragnos is the keeper of a legendary shield called Tuskbreaker. He's also armed with a Dread Mace fashioned from the heart of a mountain.
Kragnos' power and strength cause him to be revered by the armies of Destruction. Kragnos can be added to any of the Destruction armies.
Kragnos' shield earned the name Tuskbreaker by chipping Gorkamorka's tooth. It's a very powerful shield that's a great defense against magic.
Broken Realms: Kragnos
Broken Realms: Kragnos brings the Soul Wars to a close with a bang. The Mortal Realms will forever be changed.
Some previously shown off models will finally be entering the fray. Our new favorite Vampire Hunters, the new Lord Kroak, and the Talong and Voice of Slaanesh. See how they all fit in to the narrative with Broken Realms: Kragnos.
Meanwhile in Shyish, a new threat is brewing.
The upcoming Soulblight Gravelords Battletome will detail several vampiric bloodlines. Each bloodline has their own culture and history.
Lauka Vai, the Mother of Nightmares
The Avengorii bloodline seeks the strongest and largest prey. Leading the Avengorii dynesty is Lauka Vai. This is one creepy centaur. Typically we see quadrupedal centaurs, and the fact that she isn't gives off some twisted body horror vibes. This sculpt is a big swing of the bat for Games Workshop, and I can't wait to see what people do with her.
Lauka Vai has dueling aspects. An internal struggle between her monsterous form, and her beginnings of noble knighthood.
Although Vai is a twisted form of bat, drake, and humanoid, she maintains the mind and presence of her warrior queen self.
This kit also builds into an unnamed Vengorian Lord, but we all know we are building it as Lauka Vai.
In the Vyrkos dynasty, we see a familiar face.
Radukar the Beast
In Cursed City, you knew him as Radukar the Wolf, his new form is the Beast.
From what I've been able to piece together, Cursed City was meant to be out in the fall. This reveal was meant to be a surprise return with some impact about 6 months down the road from when you first defeat Radukar. Unfortunately with all the things that have happened, most of us haven't even painted Radukar yet, and we have his new form on it's way. He looks great though.
Radukar isn't the only Vyrkos vampire making an apppearance.
Belladamma Volga, First of the Vyrkos
Not just the matriarch of the Vyrkos, Belladamma may be the oldest living vampire. She is a powerful sorceress who is able to command Dire Wolves directly.
Dire Wolves
We have a refreshed set of Dire Wolves models. They will be tagged as a Battleline unit for the Soulblight Gravelords, but can be used in any undead force.
That's it for all the new models for the Soulblight Gravelords. Hopefully we get our hands on all of them soon.
