A Closer Look At The New Warcry Tomes

Five new books brings loads of new content to Warcry next week. There are four Grand Alliance books and the Tome of Champions for this year.

The new Grand Alliance books - Sentinels of Order, Harbingers of Destruction, Bringers of Death, and Agents of Chaos - contain the rules for the different warbands. There are 39 total warbands divided into different Grand Alliances.

These books also contain quests and challenge battles, allowing you to take your warband on a narrative journey.

This year's Tome of Champions is packed with new content. It includes rules and glory point updates. Reinforcements and the use of Consumable items will be getting a change. There are expanded rules for Open Play. I'm looking forward to multiplayer games for 3-6 players. Campaign rules are being added so that you can run a campaign in Soroth Kor, the Silent City. Lastly, six battleplans are being added for the 2020/2021 season, in addition to escalation tournament rules.
